We take fun seriously and want your Spacelocker experience to be kool. Therefore it is important that you understand how your personal information is handled at the Spacelocker website. Spacelocker's Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use the information on our website and how you can make informed decisions when using Spacelocker.

Age Requirement
Spacelocker is intended to be used only by those persons who are 13 years or older. If you are minor you must have your parent or guardian’s consent to use Spacelocker. If you aware of anyone under the age of 13 years using Spacelocker please contact Spacelocker and we will take immediate steps to determine their age and if in fact they are under 13 years of age we will cancel their account and remove all their personal information from Spacelocker.

The Information We Collect
In order to use Spacelocker’s Services all users must first sign up and register. When you register with Spacelocker, you must provide your name, email address, a chosen password, age, gender, and city/country. If you register using a MSN, Yahoo, Gmail or AOL email account and the existing password, you will also provide your the email addresses in that account for your Spacelocker address book. You may also upload a picture, plug in networks you are a member of, and provide any other personal information you wish to disclose.
When you enter Spacelocker, we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all Spacelocker visitors. We also store certain information from your browser using cookies, which are pieces of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Session ID cookies confirm that you are logged in and terminate once you close the browser. By default, a cookie stores your login ID (but not your password) to make it easier for you to login when you return to Spacelocker. To disable this convenience feature, you can un-check the box in the login window.
Spacelocker lets you easily set up your personal profile, form relationships, send messages, form groups, set up events, add applications, and transmit information through various channels. We collect this information so that we can provide you the service and offer personalized features. In most cases, we retain it so that, for instance, you can return to view prior messages you have sent or easily see your friend list.
You post User Content (as defined in the Spacelocker Terms of Service) at your own risk. Although you may apply privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.
Improper collection or misuse of information provided on Spacelocker is a violation of the Spacelocker Terms of Service and should be reported to Spacelocker.
If you use InviteAFriend to tell a friend about our website, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. An automatically generated email or instant message invites them to visit the site. When you register with Spacelocker, an automatically generated email or instant message invites the friends in your address book to visit and join the Spacelocker website; and a reminder email if necessary. Spacelocker stores this information to send this invitation, to register a friend who accepts your invitation, and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend can contact us through our contact form to request that we remove this information from our database.
Spacelocker may also collect information about you from other sources, such as newspapers, blogs, other websites, instant messaging services, and other users of the Spacelocker service through the operation of the service (e.g., photo tags) in order to provide a more useful and personalized experience.
By using Spacelocker, you consent to have your personal data transferred to Spacelocker and processed in the United States, the United Kingdom and/or Malta.
Use of Information Obtained by Spacelocker
Spacelocker uses your personally identifiable information for the purposes of the Spacelocker website and Spacelocker friend interactions. Your picture, name, age, gender, and city/country are displayed to all users of Spacelocker in order to facilitate user interaction on Spacelocker. However only persons you have accepted as a Spacelocker friend will be able to view your profile page, email address, network feeds or Locker Page. Your email address is only displayed to a user that you allow to become your Spacelocker friend. Email addresses are also used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Spacelocker and to add users to members' friends' networks. We also use email addresses to send useful information to all registered users regarding the Spacelocker website. We use email addresses of users, and the email addresses in the user’s spacelocker address book, to send an invitation to their friends and encourage them to sign up on Spacelocker. When a user lists an email address in their Spacelocker address book, an email is automatically sent from that registered user to their friend, encouraging their friend to sign up on the Spacelocker website. If the Spacelocker friend does not sign up within 10 days, we will send out a reminder from the registered user to their friend. Spacelocker may share the email address and/or other personally identifiable information of any registered user with third parties for marketing purposes. In addition, Spacelocker may share a registered user's email address with third parties to target advertising and to improve user experience on Spacelocker pages in general. We may also occasionally email notifications regarding new Spacelocker activities or functions that we think you may find valuable. Spacelocker shall maintain all information provided by a Spacelocker member, including email addresses, in it's data base.
Cookies and Passive Data Collection
Spacelocker uses cookies, IP address, clickstream and URL information to improve the content of the Spacelocker website, the quality of Spacelocker servers, and to provide enhanced features to users, where available. We use cookies to save UserIDs, session validators, and on users' browsers and hard drives, and may use them to provide tailored products or services to those users, as they become available. We also cross-match user information with information collected from cookies and clickstream data in order to test features of the Spacelocker website, and to better personalize our various offerings for users. IP Addresses also help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Spacelocker site, and to otherwise provide the Spacelocker service to its users. IP addresses may be disclosed to a third party if we believe in good faith that the law or legal process so requires, or to protect the rights or property of Spacelocker or others. From time to time we may extend various offers from various partner companies, including news or additional details on products and services. A user's usage history may result in specifically tailored special offer screens or products. We may also produce aggregate reports for advertisers. For example, we may report to advertisers the number of users who clicked on an ad, or the number of users that visited different portions of the Spacelocker website. This information will not include personally identifiable information about a user, or a specific user's online usage patterns.
Profile and Locker Page Information
When you register with Spacelocker you are required to provide your name, age, gender, and city/county location. You may also upload a picture. This personal identifiable information is made available to all users of Spacelocker for the purpose creating user interaction on the Spacelocker website. Personal identifiable information in a Spacelocker Members profile page and/or locker page is only accessible by other users when the Member accepts them as a Spacelocker friend. We use profile and locker page information for the purposes of providing our services to you, such as to analyze demographics, to better personalize our various offerings for users, or to enable other users to find your profile. Please do not post direct contact information in either your profile page or your locker page. We also caution you use extreme care with any of your direct contact information and DO NOT share any personally sensitive information (such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, and driver's license numbers) with other users.
Some profile information you submit to Spacelocker is available to all other Spacelocker users. Your name, age, gender, city/country location, and picture are available in the Locker Meeting Place page. This is primarily so new and old friends can find you and send a friend request. People who see your name in the locker meeting place page, however will not be able to access your profile or locker pages unless you accept them as your Spacelocker friend. Nor will non Spacelocker friends be able send you stickies, stikkmms, messages (other than a friend request), or virtual gifts.
Your Spacelocker friends may be able to supplement your locker by sending you stickies and stikkmms. They may also be able to augment your locker page by sending you a virtual gift or pasting messages or graphics on your locker page. Virtual gifts, with a message, may also be placed in your gift box by another Member. Spacelocker reserves the right to place virtual gifts into your gift box and on your locker wall. If you find a virtual gift, message, sticky, stikkmm, or graphic you do not want in your locker, gift box, or locker wall you can simply delete it.
Spacelocker may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, you may receive an email alerts relating to actions of your spacelocker friends. You can opt out of such emails by changing the settings on your locker page; though Spacelocker reserves the right to send you email notifications even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
Spacelocker may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people in a network have certain preferences. Or to personalize advertisements and promotions so you may find products of interest. We believe this benefits you. You can know more about the world around you and, where there are advertisements, they're more likely to be interesting to you. For example, if you put a favorite movie in your profile, we might send you an advertisement highlighting a screening of a similar one in your town. But we don't tell anyone who you are.
We may use information about you that we collect from other sources, including but not limited to newspapers and Internet sources such as blogs, instant messaging services, Spacelocker Platform developers and other users of Spacelocker, to supplement your profile.
Sharing Your Information with Third Parties
Spacelocker lets you share information with contacts in your networks while providing you with the ability of which Spacelocker Members may access your Spacelocker information. We share your information with third parties in limited circumstances only where we believe such sharing is reasonably necessary to enhance the service, complies with our terms of service and privacy policy, or is legally required.
We may use third parties to facilitate our business, such as to host the service at a facility for servers, to send out email updates about Spacelocker, to remove repetitive information from our user lists, to process payments for products or services, to offer an online job application process, or to provide search results or links (including sponsored links). In connection with these offerings and business operations, our service providers may have access to your personal information for a limited time in connection with these business activities. Where we utilize third parties for the processing of any personal information, we implement reasonable contractual and technical protections limiting the use of that information to the Spacelocker-specified purposes.
If you, your friends, or members of your network use any third-party applications developed using the Spacelocker Platform ("Platform Applications"), those Platform Applications may access and share certain information about you with others in accordance with your privacy settings. In addition, third party developers who have created and operate Platform Applications ("Platform Developers"), may also have access to your personal information (excluding your contact information) if you permit Platform Applications to access your data. Before allowing any Platform Developer to make any Platform Application available to you, Spacelocker requires the Platform Developer to enter into an agreement which, among other things, requires them to respect your privacy settings and strictly limits their collection, use, and storage of your information. However, while we have undertaken contractual and technical steps to restrict possible misuse of such information by such Platform Developers, we cannot and do not guarantee that all Platform Developers will abide by such agreements. Please note that Spacelocker does not screen or approve Platform Developers and cannot control how such Platform Developers use any personal information that they may obtain in connection with Platform Applications. In addition, Platform Developers may require you to sign up to their own terms of service, privacy policies or other policies, which may give them additional rights or impose additional obligations on you, so please make sure to review these terms and policies carefully before using any Platform Application. You can report any suspected misuse of information through the Spacelocker Platform and we will investigate any such claim and take appropriate action against the Platform Developer up to and including terminating their participation in the Spacelocker Platform and/or other formal legal action.
We may be required to disclose user information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. We do not reveal information until we have a good faith belief that an information request by law enforcement or private litigants meets applicable legal standards. Additionally, we may share account or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Spacelocker service or using the Spacelocker name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.
You may choose to share information with marketers or electronic commerce providers through sponsored groups or other on-site offers.
We may offer stores or provide services jointly with other companies on Spacelocker. You can tell when another company is involved in any store or service provided on Spacelocker, and we may share customer information with that company in connection with your use of that store or service.
Like many other websites that interact with third party sites, we may receive some information even if you are logged out from Spacelocker, or that pertains to non-Spacelocker users, from those sites in conjunction with the technical operation of the system. In cases where Spacelocker receives information on users that are not logged in, or on non-Spacelocker users, we do not attempt to associate it with individual Spacelocker accounts and will discard it.
If the ownership of all or substantially all of the Spacelocker business, or individual business units owned by Spacelocker Ltd changes, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.
When you use Spacelocker, certain information you post or share with third parties, such as personal information, comments, messages, photos, videos, Marketplace listings or other information, may be shared with other users in accordance with your election to give them access to your pages. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting comments, messages, photos, videos, Marketplace listings or other items, this information may become publicly available.
Default Settings and Opting Out
Default, settings on your locker page will cause email messages to be sent and received when you or your Spacelocker friends take certain actions on the Spacelocker website. You can manage your emailing preferences to specify which type of email to opt out of by going to the settings tab on your locker page and un-checking the boxes indicating which type of email you would not like to receive.
No Spam
Spacelocker condemns spam. We email users and their friends only when it has been provided for and agreed to under our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service prohibit all users from engaging in any activity involving spam on our service. Violations of these policies may result in immediate termination of service and legal action against any spammer. Such violations may subject the sender and their agents to civil and criminal penalties.
Links
Spacelocker may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. Please be aware when you leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information Spacelocker collects.
Third Party Advertising
Advertisements that appear on Spacelocker are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly by third party advertisers who automatically receive your IP address on delivery. These third party advertisers may also try to download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and "web beacons” to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. This allows the advertising network to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using your computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked.
Spacelocker does not have access to or control of the cookies placed by the third party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to your contact information stored on Spacelocker unless you choose to share it with them. This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by Spacelocker and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.
Changing or Removing Information
Access and control over most personal information on Spacelocker is readily available through the profile editing tools. You can immediately modify, update, or delete any profile information at any time by logging into your account. Removed information may persist in backup copies temporarily but will not be generally available to members of Spacelocker. If you want to terminate your Spacelocker account you must use our contact form to request the cancellation of your Spacelocker account. We will verify your account cancellation request in a reasonable time, and we will thereafter delete your Spacelocker account. You agree that the terms and conditions in this privacy policy shall survive the termination of your account with Spacelocker and they shall apply with equal force as if you were still a Member of Spacelocker.
Where you use the features of the service to share information with others using Spacelocker, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Spacelocker user) you generally cannot remove such communications.
Security
Spacelocker takes appropriate precautions to protect information. Your account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. When you enter sensitive information (such as your password), we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications, we request that you not send private information to us by email or instant messaging services.
Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected by the Spacelocker website in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security. Further, while we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information. Revisions and Notice
Your use of Spacelocker, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to revise, amend, or modify this policy and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner.
