Your Spacelocker is personal to you. It has private areas only you can see and public areas that you control access to. Do not give anyone your Spacelocker account name or password.
Inside your Spacelocker are a variety of tools to make it easy for you to meet and interact with friends and to connect to your online stuff.
You'll find your personal name plate at the top of your locker. The name shown there will be the first name you have used in your profile. It will be the name that all Spacelocker users see. You can change your name to whatever you want to be known as in Spacelocker by using the edit profile button on your profile/locker page.
Below your name plate you will find links to this Help page, a Bookmark to remember Spacelocker on your computer, and Sign Out function which closes your Spacelocker door.
On your locker door is a Google or Yahoo search function that allows you to do your internet searches right from inside your locker.
Also on your locker door is a web chat facility which is explained below.
There is also a Photo Strip on your locker door. Click on the photo strip and a separate window opens. In this separate window click each browse button and find a picture in your computer you would like on this photo strip. Double click on the picture in your computer. You can have up to 4 pictures. Click the update button in this window and the photos your have selected will be uploaded and appear on the photo strip.
The three locker shelves contain icons which link you to the main functions of Spacelocker. By scrolling your mouse over the icon a rollover description will appear informing you the purpose of that icon. Click on the icon and you will be linked to that icon's functions.

Your Spacelocker Profile/Locker Page is designed to tell your Spacelocker friends about yourself and to let you interact with them.
There is a New Message flag. Click on the flag and you will link to your message window; where you can see and reply to your messages. The new message flag has a counter which tells you if you have any messages, and how many there are.
You will find on the page the Profile information that you provided when you signed up to Spacelocker. Beside your profile is an area called About Me where you can tell your friends a lot more about yourself. You can change your profile and about me information by clicking on the Edit Profile button on the page.
You can also Upload a Profile Picture in the edit profile window by clicking on the browse button and double clicking on the picture in your computer you want to use.
When you have edited your profile, about me and uploaded a profile picture, click on the Save button in the edit profile window and your new information will appear on the page. Between your profile and about me areas is the photo strip from your locker door.
If you have not uploaded any pictures to the photo strip on your locker door you can do it here by following the photo strip instructions from above.
Email notifications about actions in your locker, or your friend's locker, have been set by default to automatically send an alert to the email account you have registered with Spacelocker. If you want to change these defaults, click on the Settings button on the page. You can change all or some of the settings by turning them On or Off and clicking the Save Settings button in this window. If the setting is On you will receive an email alert. If the setting is Off you will not receive an email alert.
When you signed up you were invited to add your networks. However if you didn�t add your networks at that time, you can do this from your profile/locker page. Click on the + Add Networks button. A drop down window will appear. Click on the drop down menu in this window and choose a network you are a member of and provide the user name/id and follow the instructions.
If you add networks to your profile/locker page a Recent Network Activities feed will appear on your profile/locker page.
You can decorate your Locker Wall by pasting a widget on it from Spacelocker widget box. Just click the Get Widgets button and the widget box will open. Select a widget, copy the html code of that widget and paste it in the available space. Click the Post button and your widget will appear on your locker wall.
You can also follow the same process by pasting any other widgets, graphics, videos, pictures, music or games in the available space, click the post button, and they will appear on your locker wall.
On the right side there is an area that displays your Spacelocker friends. You will see 8 at a time. If you have more that 8 Spacelocker friends just click Next to go to the next group of 8 and Previous to go back to the previous group of 8. To see the profile/locker page of your Spacelocker friends click on them and you will be linked to their locker page.
To add a Spacelocker friend click on the Add Contact button and you can import friends from your webmail accounts, manually or by using a CSV file.
Below your friend's display is a Comment Space where your friend's can add graphics, widgets, videos, pictures, music or games to your locker page. If you do not like what your friend added, simply click on the Delete button on the bottom of the posted graphic. Or send a message to your friend about the graphic by clicking on the Reply button. You will be linked to your friend's locker page and you can use the message tools there to reply.
Also on the right side is Return To My Locker flag which will link you back to your locker and the icons on the 3 shelves. Just above the return to my locker flag is link to your meeting place page and a sign out link which will close your locker and return you to the Spacelocker home landing page.
Your Friend's Locker Page
Your message flag also appears on the top of your friend's locker page so you can see if any messages come in while looking at their page.
Also near the top of your friend's locker page are 3 links. The locker page link to take you back to your locker page. The meeting place link to take you to your meeting place page. The sign out link to close your locker door.
The Return To My Locker flag will take you back to your locker.
To send your friend a message just type in a message on their message pad and click on the send message button.
To send your friend a stikkmm, stickies, or a gift, click on any of them and follow the instructions. See details below regarding stikkmms, stickies, and gifts for a more complete explanation.
If your friend has added networks to their Spacelocker account you will be able to see the public parts of those networks in their Networks window. Just click on the network icon and you will be linked to their network. You will also be able to see your friend's Recent Network Activities. Click on any thumbnail of them to get a larger view.
Below your friend's about me info you will see who are your friend's friend. If you want to meet any of them just click on their picture and they will be sent a friend�s request. If they accept they will be made part of your friends list and you will be able to see their profile.
You can decorate your friend's locker page with graphics, widgets, videos, pictures, music or games in their Comment Space. There is a handy Get Graphics button next to the comment space area. It will link you to the funscrape website where there are 1000s of graphics. Or you can find your own graphics, widgets, videos, pictures, music or games and paste their embed code into the available space, click on the post button and they will appear on your friends wall.
If you want to remove a friend from your friend's list just click on the Remove From Friends button below their profile and they will no longer appear as your friend and will no longer be able to view your locker page, send you messages or post anything to your locker page.
If you feel you are subject to inappropriate behavior, or you receive anything you believe is abusive go to that user's locker page and click on the Report Abuse button. A full window will open and a form will be provided to detail your complaint. When you have filled in the complaint fields click on the submit button and someone from Spacelocker will follow up on your complaint.

To personalize your locker choose an individual Locker Theme. On the top shelf of your locker click on the locker themes icon.
In the Themes window, select the button next to the theme you want for your locker.Then click on Apply. Spacelocker rebuilds your locker to your chosen theme. To accept, close the Themes window.

Meet Me At My Locker is similar to the “hallway in front of the school lockers”. Here you can meet and interact with other Spacelocker users, your friends, new users, and ones who are currently at their lockers. And Spacelocker users will be able to Check Their Clicks to see who is looking at them at this meeting place.
Click on the meet me at my locker icon and you will be linked to the Meeting Place page. Here you will first see a large group of Spacelocker users gathered. This group of people will change each time you come back to the meeting place page. Under this group will be a group of your spacelocker friends. Under them will be latest users who have joined spacelocker. And finally there will be the latest group of users who are at their lockers.
Click on a user who is your friend. You will be linked to their locker page. Here you can send your friend a message by typing in a message on their message pad and click on the send message button. Or send your friend a stikkmm, stickies, or a gift, by click on any of them on their page and follow the instructions. See details below regarding stikkmms, stickies, and gifts for a more complete explanation.
You will be able to interact with them by sending them a message, a stikkmm, a sticky or a free virtual gift. You will also be able to decorate their locker page with widgets, graphics, videos, pictures, music, and games.
When you click on a user who is not yet your friend a window will open that asks you Invite Them To Be A Friend. If you click on ADD AS FRIEND they will be sent an alert asking if they will accept you as a friend. If they accept, you will be added to their Spacelocker friends list and be able to access their locker page, and they will be able to access yours. If they decline you will not be able to see their locker page. If you Close on the invite window they will get a message in their Check Their Clicks button on their meeting page that you looked at their mini profile.
There are 3 buttons on the meeting place page. By clicking on the Return to My Locker Page you will be linked back to your locker page. By clicked on the Check Your Clicks button you will see mini profile windows of who has clicked on you in the meeting place. If you click on the Add As A Friend button they will be sent a friends invitation. If you click Delete they will not be on your friend’s list and will not be able to access your locker page. By clicking on the Invite More Friends button you can insert your non-spacelocker friends email address and we will send them an invitation to join you.
Note that if you add someone as a friend from the meeting place page or another friend’s locker page, you will not be able to see their email address and they will not be able to see your email address. Only email addresses that you import, on sign up or later, can be viewed.
There are also 3 flags on the meeting place page. By clicking on the New Messages flag you will be taken see and reply to any new messages. By clicking on the Friends Request flag you will be taken to a window to see who has requested to be your friend. By clicking on the Return To My Locker button your will be linked back to your 3 shelf locker.

If you signed up to Spacelocker using your existing Yahoo, Hotmail/MSN, Gmail, or AOL web mail address and existing password, Spacelocker automatically imports your contacts from that account to your Spacelocker Address Book List.
Alternatively, if you signed up t Spacelocker using any existing email address and chose and confirmed a new password, Spacelocker does not import any contacts from this email account and you will have to import them manually using the Add Contact button if you want them in your address book.
Names in your Spacelocker address book list that appear in white text are your friends who have signed up with Spacelocker. Names that appear in yellow are friends who have not yet signed up with Spacelocker.
To add more contacts to your Address Book click on Add Contact at the top right of the Address Book page. In the Import Contacts window you can add contacts to your Address Book in three ways:
1 . Import your contacts from a web mail account
- In the designated text boxes, type your existing Gmail, AOL, Yahoo, or Hotmail/MSN web mail address and your existing password. Click on Fetch. Spacelocker imports your contacts from the account to your Friends List.
2 . Add friends manually
- In the designated text box, type the friend’s email address; to add more than one friend, separate each address with a comma. Click on Import
3 . Import contacts using CSV file
- From the Format drop-down menu, select the format of your file. In the CSV File to Upload box, type or browse for the file name. Click on Import
Note: Email applications such as Outlook and Thunderbird allow you to save your contacts as a CSV or LDIF file. After you’ve saved your contacts, importing this file to your Friends List in your Spacelocker Address Book lets you access these contacts on any PC with internet connection and have a backup of your email address book.
To return to the Address Book page, click on Back To Address Book at the top right of the Import Contacts window.
The list in your Spacelocker Address Book displays the names of your friends who you have imported when you signed up or imported later and their email addresses. The email address of friends who you have added from the meeting place page will not be displayed --- there’s or yours. The online status is also displayed in the address book.
You can use your Address Book to see the photo, video and music networks that your friend has added to Spacelocker.
Click on a name in your Friends List. Then click on the photo, video or music icon on the top of the window and you will be linked to your friend’s corresponding window.
You can also use your Address Book to communicate with your friends. Click on a name in your Friends List. Then click on the chat or stickies icons.
Chat from the address book. To start a chat, click on the Chat icon and select Web Messenger, MSN, Yahoo, AIM, GTalk, ICQ, or MySpace in the Chat Zone window. Select a chat service and either sign up or log in to chat with your friends. The Contact List options help you manage your contacts. Sign Out to return to the Chat Zone window, where you can select another service from the Spacelocker Chat panel, or close the window to return to your locker.
Stickies from the address book. To leave a sticky on the locker of a friend selected from the Friends List, click on the Stickies icon at the top right corner of the window. In the Add Sticky window, type a title and note of up to 50 characters. Then click on Post. To close the stickies window, click on Back to Address Book.
Message from the address book. Use the Spacelocker message system in your Address Book to send a private message to a friend. Select a friend’s name from Friends List. Type the text in the white text box below their photo. Then click on Send Message.
Friend’s Networks are also shared in the address book. Click on a friend’s name. Below the message pad are symbols of any networks that your friend has added to their Spacelocker account. By clicking on the network symbol you can see the public portion of your friend’s network.
To remove a contact from your friends list in your address book go to their locker page. You can find their locker page in your friend’s list either on your own locker page or on your meeting place page. When you open their locker page click on the Remove From Friends button below their profile. They will simultaneously be removed from your address book as well as your friend’s list on your locker page and meeting place page. If, after you have removed them as friends, they attempt to return as to your friend’s list, simply report this abuse to Spacelocker administration. Using the report abuse button.

You do not upload photos at Spacelocker photo icon. Instead Spacelocker provides quick access to all the photos you’ve already saved in a variety of online social and photo networks. Note that only those photos that you have chosen to make public in those networks will appear on your Spacelocker photo page and be shared with your Spacelocker friends. Photos appear in your locker as thumbnails under the appropriate network. To link to the host web site and view the full size image and any other images held on that site, click on a photo thumbnail.
Remember to add and connect your social and photo networks to Current Networks on your profile/locker page. Or in the photo window there is a link with the words Click Here. Click on the link and an Add Networks window will open. Choose a network you are a member of, put in the user name/id for that network and click on Connect. Your photos from that network will appear as thumbnails in your Spacelocker photo window.

You do not upload videos to Spacelocker. Instead Spacelocker provides quick access to videos you’ve already saved on YouTube. Note that only those videos you have uploaded to your YouTube public favourites and playlist will appear on your Spacelocker video page and be shared with your Spacelocker friends. Videos appear as thumbnails in your locker. A video player is also included in your locker. To view the videos, click on a video thumbnail.
Remember to add and connect YouTube or Photobucket to Current Networks on your profile/locker page. Or in the video window there is a link with the words “Click Here”. Click on the link and an Add Networks window will open. Choose a network you are a member of, put in the user name/id for that network and click on Connect. Your videos from that network will appear as thumbnails in your Spacelocker video window.

You do not upload music to Spacelocker. Instead Spacelocker provides quick access to music you have already saved on Dizzler.com and last.fm. Note that only the music you have uploaded to your Dizzler and last.fm playlists will appear on your Spacelocker music page and be shared with your Spacelocker friends. Music appears as a thumbnail album for last.fm and a player for Dizzler. To link to your online music library, click on the last.fm album thumbnail or Dizzler player.
Remember to add and connect your Dizzler and last.fm networks to Current Networks on your profile/locker page. Or in the music window there is a link with the words “Click Here”. Click on the link and an Add Networks window will open. Choose a network you are a member of, put in the user name/id for that network and click on Connect. Your music from that network will appear as thumbnail from last.fm and a player from Dizzler in your Spacelocker music window. Note: For Dizzler you must copy and paste the embed code from your Dizzler account as the user id.

The Bookmarks feature on the bottom shelf is all you need to store your favourite sites and online places.
To open the Bookmarks page, click the Bookmarks icon. Spacelocker enables you to import bookmarks from online resources such as deli.cio.us and Simpy and add multiple bookmarks from multiple resources including bookmark files exported from popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.
To import entries to your Bookmarks list, click on Import Bookmark at the top of the Bookmarks page.
In the Import Bookmark window you can import entries to your Bookmarks in two ways:
1 . Import your bookmarks from a previously existing htm bookmark file
- In the Select Bookmark File text box, type or browse the name of your existing bookmark file
- Click on Import Bookmark From File
Spacelocker imports your entries to your Bookmarks list.
2 . Import your bookmarks from your existing deli.cio.us or Simpy site
- From the Select Bookmark Site drop-down menu, select the site
- Type your username and password in the appropriate text boxes
- Click on Import Bookmark From Site
To return to the Bookmarks page, click on Back To Bookmarks at the top right of the Import Bookmarks window.
To add entries to your Bookmarks file click on Add Bookmark at the top of the Bookmarks page.
In the Add Bookmarks window type the title, url, notes, and categories in the appropriate text boxes. Then click on Apply.
To return to the Bookmarks page, click on Back To Bookmarks.
You can also use the Edit facility to manually update or add a bookmark to your bookmarks list. Beside any entry in your Bookmarks list, click on Edit to open the Edit Bookmarks window.
In the Edit Bookmarks window, type the updated information. Then click on Apply.
To delete a bookmark, click on Delete beside any entry you no longer want to keep.
To return to the Bookmarks page, click on Back To Bookmarks.
The Bookmarks feature also enables you to organize your bookmarks by category and display them in ascending or descending order.

Spacelocker gives you direct access to the wealth of multiplayer games hosted by Come2Play, the web's largest and fastest growing open social gaming site. Create an account or login to play a host of fun multiplayer games right within your locker.

Gifts can be sent from your friend's locker page or from the address book.
To give your Spacelocker friend a free virtual gift click on their mini profile. Your friend's locker page will open. Click on the gift box icon on their locker page. A gift gallery window will open with a selection of gifts. Click the button below the gift you have chosen and write a short message in the message pad. Then click the Send button and your gift will be delivered to your friend's gift box in their locker as well as pasted on the locker wall.
And check your own gift box often by clicking on the gift box icon on the locker shelves to see if anyone has sent you a free virtual gift. By clicking on the Reply button that comes with the gift you can send a thank you.

Select the Chat icon at the top of your Address Book window. From the Spacelocker Chat panel in the Chat Zone window, select a chat service and either sign up or log in to chat with your friends. The Contact List options help you manage your contacts. Sign Out to return to the Chat Zone window, where you can select another service from the Spacelocker Chat panel, or close the window to return to your locker.

Stickies can be sent from your friend’s locker page by clicking on their mini profile or from your address book.
In your friend’s locker page click on the Stickies icon. A sticky window will appear. You can type up 50 characters on the sticky to send your friend a short note. Click the post button and the sticky will be pinned to the shelves in your friend’s locker.
In your address book, select a friend from your Friends List and click on the Stickies icon at the top right corner of the window. Title your sticky and type a short message. Click on the post button and the sticky will be pinned to the shelves in your friend’s locker.

Stikkmms can only be sent from your friend’s locker page.
Click on your friend’s mini profile. Your friend’s locker page will open. Click on the stikkmm icon on their locker page. A stikkmm gallery window will open with a selection of stikkmms. Stikkmms are illustrated in general categories in the stikkmm gallery window. If you want to choose a different stikkmm than the one you can see, open the drop down menu below the shown stikkmm. Click on your new choice. Then click on the Post button below the stikkmm you have chosen. The stikkmm will be pinned to the shelves in your friend’s locker.

Messages can be sent from your friend's locker page by clicking on their mini profile or from your address book.
In your friend's locker page, write a message on the message pad below their profile. Click the send message button. Your friend will be alerted they have a new message in the counter on their new message flag.
Or send a message from your Address Book to your friends. Select a friend from your Friends List and click on their name. Type your message on the message pad. Click on Send Message.
